Hey Dhanajaya, now listen to what is  described in detail about the differences in the intellect and the resolve distinctly according to the constitutions.

Be it in what is to be done and not to be done, in danger and security, the intellect that is conscious of the progress and regress as well as bondage and liberation thereof, hey Partha, is of the stainless constitution.

The intellect that distinguishes the right and wrong in what is to be done and not to be done incorrectly that, hey Partha is of the passionate constitution.

The intellect that is overcast by ignorance and comprehends the wrong to be the right and all senses in the contrary that intellect, hey Partha, is of the ignorant constitution.

Collecting data and acquiring knowledge will not develop intellect. Nothing wrong with being knowledgeable and well informed, intelligence and knowledge provides you the means to make a living, but it will not develop your intellect. To develop intellect you need to observe, question, think, reason and make judgments and conclusions for yourself. - Jura Nanuk
